Greed grows quietly, shaping the way we see the world. Every coin counted, every possession held close, every day measured as if tomorrow will take it all away. Trust feels dangerous, generosity risky. Peace is built on walls and closed hands, and the mind never rests. Nights are long, filled with the weight of what could vanish. Fear and carefulness become companions, and the heart grows tired of guarding.
Then Jesus shows another way. He breaks the bread and gives freely. Nothing is hidden. Nothing is caged. What is offered does not diminish but multiplies. In His presence, the world looks different. There is enough. Not for tomorrow, not for safety, not for pride, but enough to breathe, enough to share, enough to rest. Hands can open. Hearts can release. Worry fades because what is true remains.
Holding tightly is not strength. Holding lightly is trust. Greed loses its power when love flows without calculation. What we fear to give away is already safe with Him. Eyes that once counted now see abundance. Hands that once clutched now rest. Peace finally arrives.
