“Perseverance” was inspired by real events I went through myself. I decided to turn them into music to give strength to everyone whoās facing difficult times. Trust me, itās worth not giving up, even when everything seems unbearable.
For a long time, I rejected Jesus. I truly believed that either God had abandoned me, or that He simply didnāt exist. Because if He did, how could He allow so much injustice and inequality?
But after surviving some of the hardest moments of my life, I realized, rationally, that I could never have made it alone. Jesus was always there for me. He loved me even when everyone else turned their back.
Today, I am stronger, not only because Iāve faced the storms of life, but because Iāve opened my heart to Jesus.
Heās not here to make life easy or perfect. Heās here to help us endure, to keep walking through the pain, and to find meaning in the struggle.
I dedicate this song to everyone whoās struggling, whether you believe in Jesus or not.
